We're back in town, unpacking our things after seeing a whole lot of the great outdoors this weekend. On Thursday, we traveled to Albany, NY to play the Red Square with Restys (Restys MySpace), a 6-piece country band featuring accordion, banjo, ukulele and fiddle. Special thanks to Matt from the Disposable Rocket Band (DRB Myspace) for joining us onstage playing fiddle.
On Friday we played at our favorite coffeeshop in Cohoes, NY, the wonderful Bread and Jam Cafe. Thanks very much to Sal for bringing us out.
With a full moon raised high over Manhattan, we released our new record at Pianos. The night was orchestrated by yours truly, and we put together a group of some of our favorite acts. First was Noxious Foxes (NF Website), a 2-piece juggernaut of piercing guitar riffs and pounding drums. Many thanks to Justin and Richie for putting on such an amazing show. Mariage Blanc (MB MySpace) made the trip out from Pittsburgh to bring us some beautiful lush tunes from their upcoming record. Many thanks to the guys for rocking with us. Our favorite singer-songwriter from the band Cheyenne, Beau Jennings (BSJ MySpace) filled out the night with some great storytelling and songs. Thanks for making it a really special night everyone, we really appreciate all the support we've gotten!
We finished out the weekend by playing the Evolve Festival in NJ. Here are some of the highlights from the trip.
